Year 6 netball match A-team

On Wednesday 21st October the Year 6 netball team had our first match against Barrow Hedges. As they arrived everyone was feeling tense; we were practising for the match and it was looking hopeful.

Mrs O’Dwyer was the umpire so she blew the whistle. Then all of us who could raced towards the centre and fought for the ball. The other team got the ball first and we were back on track seconds later. Yes Grace had scored a goal all of us were leaping for joy.
It was the end of the first half we are winning 4-1. Hopefully we could keep it up. Then Laura blocked the ball from the rivals, one less point for them! Then we managed to get the ball to the goal and score.
We were winning 9-2 however Jamie managed to score her fifth and final goal as then the whistle was blown to signify that it was the end of the match we won 10-2.
Thank you to all the supporters and a very big thank you to Mrs Scripps and Mrs O’Dwyer.
