The Eco-schools Committee have been talking about the theme of Keeping Britain Tidy.

The first task that we have undertaken is to keep our school tidy. We spent lunchtime tidying the corridors; we hung up coats, zipped up bags and ensured that the overall areas were neat and tidy.

In the next half-term our plan is to expand this theme and will shall carryout a lunchtime tidy-up of the outside area, particularly the recycling area. We shall then clean-up of the grassy areas and hedgerows adjacent to school.

We shall report back to our classmates about the importance of Keeping Britain Tidy and will encourage everyone to pick up belongings in the corridor and dispose of any rubbish carefully.
