Marie Curie Fundraising Event

In this section...

Dear Parents, Grandparents, Children and all your family and friends.
We have had such a fantastic day today; it was absolutely wonderful to see so many of you in the Hall after school supporting our fundraising for Marie Curie.

Firstly, we would like to thank the children in the school; from the very youngest in Nursery all the way up to Year Six for the effort they made in creating the wonderful things to sell.  Your yellow clothing and accessories were not only inventive but also helped to raise awareness of why we were doing this – the whole school photo is fantastic.

We are absolutely overwhelmed by your generosity in supporting us raising money for such a good cause.  We would have loved to be on the front playground but due to the weather this was not possible.

We cannot believe how much money we raised which completely exceeded our expectations and we wanted to share this with you straight away.  Our total this evening is the grand sum of – wait for it ….  £912.20.  WOW!

There are still some items left from today that you will have an opportunity to buy (Year 4s have also promised to make some more popcorn due to the demand!).  Hopefully this will be able take place in the front playground after school tomorrow (Thursday).

Please help us once more as we would love to make our total a £1,000 – we are so close!

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.

With best wishes

Mrs Martin and Miss Megens xx
