St John Bosco - Year 5
St John Bosco was born August 16th 1815 and died January 31st 1888. He was born in Italy. When he was young John Bosco would put on his skills as a juggler, magician and an acrobat. St John Bosco worked as an Italian Priest. He placed his work under the protection of Frances de Sales. John Bosco was the only saint with the title "Father and Teacher of Youth". St John Bosco is remembered as man who dedicated his life to the service of abandoned young people. John Bosco was driven by first-hand, and experienced the effects of dreadful poverty and hunger. Very soon, after his death, popular demands wanted to have him canonized.
